Last November I wrote an article about Tiger Woods and just how much he brings to the golf industry. I just noticed an article on twitter on twitter that solidifies (not that it really needed it) the point.

Weekend Ratings Game: Golf Shows Biggest Gain

“– Golf: CBS’s coverage of the Memorial Tournament drew a 3.6 overnight rating, double last year’s rating number. Tiger Woods, who won Sunday, did not compete last year.”

I’m sure he’s not the only reason the ratings were up, but I can almost guarantee that he’s the majority.
