I’m curious where most of you go to shop online for golf products?

Reflecting on my past golf purchases, I realize that I don’t purchase very much gear online.

Also, reflecting on my golf gear, I realize that I’ve acquired my golf gear from the oddest of places.

The Nike STR8-Fit was sent to me to review for Nike’s 8>9 Contest

The Eidolon Wedges were won from the OOBGolf.com Mystery Grab Bag, I paid $10 for the bag and won these most awesome sticks.

The TaylorMade Burner Irons were ordered from the TaylorMade Performance Lab out at Grand Cypress.

The Ping putter is the last remnant of my first set of clubs that I purchased from Play It Again Sports, it’s been slightly modified since it was purchased, but I still love it.

My golf bag was purchased from Golfsmith with a bunch of collected gift cards.

Pretty random eh?

Back to the purchasing online, I’m in the market for a new golf bag, while perusing the sites, I came across a comparison shopping engine called smarter.com. They’ve got a pretty decent selection of golf bags cheap. What’s pretty cool about these guys is that you can search by popularity, price low to high and they also feature reviews for some the products. This blows away many of the CSE’s I’ve encountered and personally, I like CSE’s because it’s an easy way to find out who has the best deal.

I’ll probably end up purchasing a bag in one of the local golf shops, I guess I haven’t quite reached that comfort level I need to make golf purchases online.
